The hotel's location is unbeatable, right across from the Peoples Park and the Metro station. It is a historic building, dating back to the 1930s when it was the tallest in Asia. The hotel's unique features make it the heart of this city. I loved the convenience of having an upmarket tailors shop in the lobby. There were hardly any foreigners staying here, giving it an authentic feel. The breakfast options, including cornflakes, were available.
